Thank you for joining me at Mo-Dev East and attend my presentation about protecting the U/X in mobile devices.
On Thursday, December 12, at 9:00 AM, I delivered a presentation titled "Intellectual Property, the Final Frontier: Protecting Web Design without Restricting Code" at the MoDev East Conference in McLean, Virginia. The presentation is based on my paper, which won first prize at the Telecommunications Policy Research Conference and explored a new strategy for intellectual property in the Internet economy. The strategy aims to bridge the ideological divide between advocates and opponents of the current intellectual property regime by basing protections on the user experience and not the code.
MoDev East is a regional mobile development conference billed as the 'premier mobile event of the east' and consists of talks on marketing strategies, entrepreneurship, and user experience.
